RANDOMIZE is used with a seed number to generate random numbers using the RND function.

Syntax: RANDOMIZE seednumber

  • Seednumber can be just about any value.
  • If the same seed number is used, the sequence of random numbers returned will be identical.

Example: RANDOMIZE TIMER

  • Using a TIMER value ensures that the starting return sequence values are different every time. Otherwise they would always be the same!
